They say real trials are not like what you see on TV. That’s not entirely true. Yes, a lot of trials are boring, tedious, and put judges and juries to sleep. However, many are more entertaining than anything a Hollywood writer could come up with.
An effective trial lawyer must be able to not only tell a compelling story, but he or she must also demonstrate a genuine belief in the case. Craig Jackson is a devoted attorney who advocates for his clients by crafting engaging narratives and presenting them to judges and juries in a manner they understand from beginning to end.
Craig’s clients have the benefit of having a seasoned storyteller by their side. Whether it’s a case involving serious injuries, a complex divorce, or a criminal defense where his client’s liberty is on the line, he possesses a unique talent for crafting persuasive narratives that captivate judges and juries alike. Craig understands the power of storytelling in conveying his clients’ perspective, painting a vivid picture, and compelling the court to see the truth through his clients’ eyes.
Craig began his practice in 1997 and was certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in the area of family law in 2004. It did not take long for him to recognize that family law involves an array of issues such as business disputes, real estate disputes, criminal conduct, and personal injuries. While those might seem like unrelated areas of the law, they have one thing in common — success or failure hinges on having a good story and a lawyer who can effectively tell that story.
In addition to his legal practice, Craig also offers mediation services. While these services contribute to his limited availability, they provide a valuable alternative for clients seeking a peaceful resolution to their disputes. Craig’s experience in mediation allows him to guide parties toward mutually beneficial agreements, fostering a cooperative atmosphere for resolving conflicts. I am a native Texan who grew up in DeSoto. After graduating from DeSoto High School, I attended Abilene Christian University and then the University of North Texas. My parents placed a premium on education and made it clear that they would do whatever it took to support me through college both financially and emotionally. I enjoyed college tremendously, and after my second or third sophomore year, my folks determined that their emotional support was sufficient. With no money and no marketable skills, I enlisted in the Navy Reserves to serve my country, learn a trade, and get some discipline.
After boot camp and a temporary active duty stint, I returned to finish my degree at UNT and, subsequently graduated from Baylor Law School. I currently reside in Trophy Club, Texas with my wife of twenty seven years, Katy. We have two kids, Savannah and Drake.
